Unfortunately, there are no places to rent snorkeling equipment nearby. While tours such as Isla Tortuga or Snorkeling in Mal Pais include equipment, when it comes to exploring on your own, the best alternative is to purchase equipment at the supermarket. The price is around $10 dollars.

You can get snorkel googles and equipment at Supermarket Ronny #1 located in Playa Carmen

A good time to go snorkeling is when the tide is low or medium. It is not recommended during high tide as all spots are rocky, and it can be difficult to see the rocks.

There are no regulations or restrictions. However, it is important to always respect the environment, avoid disturbing the marine life, and simply observe them. Remember to take all your belongings with you and not leave any trash on the beach.

Do not forget to have with you sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat!

Enjoy the PURA VIDA life
